THIS IS MY STORY
My name is Stephen Woods — known as Woodzy in the music world.
I am a creator at my core. From a young age, I explored and cultivated my many talents, and no matter where life took me, I always returned to building something new.
What began in a small bedroom, in a distant country town with nothing but raw determination, grew into a powerful skillset that set me on a clear path — turning creativity from a passion into a career.
WHAT INSPIRED ME?
In high school, I had no direction — until everything changed the moment I discovered Jon Bellion. It wasn't his music that stopped me in my tracks, but watching him make it.
Seeing someone so deeply passionate about their craft, captured through a camera lens, lit something in me that I couldn't ignore. I wanted that feeling. To capture lightning in a bottle. To build something extraordinary from nothing.
So I got to work. I started making music in my room, filming myself, and learning everything I could to create it all on my own. That hunger is what led me to my next passion — film.
No music content exists without film. And as my skills grew, I recognised that film offered something powerful: a craft with limitless potential and a future full of opportunity.
Maybe I wasn't meant to be Jon Bellion in the studio. I was meant to be the one behind the camera — capturing greatness.
